Le secteur est dominé par un nombre relativement restreint d’entreprises fondées en grande partie aux États-Unis. Mais pour de nombreuses raisons, malgré le fait que ces organisations américaines jouent et joueront un rôle important dans le développement de l’IA, il est essentiel que l’écosystème européen prospère.
La bonne nouvelle, comme le souligne notre étude sur les entreprises de l’intelligence artificielle au Royaume-Uni, en France et dans la région DACH, est qu’il existe déjà un nombre important d’entreprises européennes dans tous les domaines de l’IA : des semi-conducteurs et du matériel informatique aux modèles de fondation, en passant par les logiciels, les outils et la myriade d’applications qui en découlent.
