We’re looking for a B2B tech SAE to join our growing UK team, where our broad portfolio of clients is expanding.

We have a varied and exciting roster of B2B technology clients, working across technologies including AI, blockchain, martech, networking, SaaS, video surveillance, quantum computing and semiconductors – to name a few – across trade, vertical, and enterprise sectors.

As a global agency, a significant percentage of our work involves programmes with international execution, and you’ll be involved in these on joining the team.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for delivering fantastic results for the client across earned media with a laser focus how these results play into the wider KPIs.

Working with the wider Hoffman Europe team, you will implement day-to-day communications activities. You will be the engine of the client campaign, driving activities with enthusiasm to deliver results that will make an impact for the client’s business.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Media relations: Play a leading role in driving media relations, building / nurturing a strong network of media contacts, and understand what it takes to make a great story for press
  • Strategic thinking: Stay on top of key news, trends, events and views in your industry, proactively sharing regular insights with your account teams to spark discussions around potential creative angles to secure opportunities for clients
  • Communication skills: Use these skills to build strong relationships with both clients and journalists, and help campaigns run smoothly through thoughtful internal communication
  • High quality copywriting: Write engaging content for a variety of purposes, from blogs to bylines to case studies
  • Time management: Aptitude to manage and deliver work on different campaigns while meeting deadlines
  • Reporting: Ensure all coverage and results are flagged in a timely manner for clients, leading on client reporting and / or competitive analysis
  • New business: Participate in new business research efforts as well as new business pitches
  • Speaking and awards: support speaking / awards programmes and support the development of abstracts and awards submissions
  • Marketing: Get involved in European marketing activity to further build our brand awareness

The Hero’s Background: Qualifications

Strong organisational and planning skills are a must, and you should have proven ability to build strong relationships with journalists, colleagues and clients.

You will have a passion for media relations and content creation given the mix of campaigns we run.

Importantly we’re looking for someone with a lot of ambition, proactivity and adaptability. Curiosity and a collaborative approach are essential.

The Office

This role is hybrid, with two days in the office and three working from home. We all gather in the office every Wednesday, so we can do our 1:1s, training, meetings and brainstorms face-to-face (it also means that we can nip out for lunches together or a quick drink after work).
