The Plot Thickens: Job Description

  • Manage and maintain Hoffman regional infrastructure including Microsoft Intune, router, Wi-Fi, VPN, remote supporting tool, DNS, web hosting, etc.
  • Design, plan, and implement of hardware or software upgrade to enhance performance.
  • Coordinate and liaise with vendors for IT services such as Internet, Telephony, hardware warranty, secure equipment disposal in regional offices.
  • Maintain regional inventory and asset configuration documents.
  • Develop scripts to control and configure all laptops to ensure compliance.
  • Backup other IT functions like Support, Security and App Development.

The Hero’s Background: Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
  • Have at least 5 years of regional IT infrastructure operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including cloud services, server and network.
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure products like Microsoft Azure, Intune, VM, Windows servers, FortiGate firewall and various Wi-Fi Access Points.
  • Experience in remote access and support.
  • Ability to work independently and provide timely report.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in providing end user support.
  • Superior communication skills.

The Plot Thickens: Job Description

Interns will be asked to carry out the following tasks to support their teams: 

  • Media monitoring: Scan for client media coverage and compile reports 
  • Research: Compile relevant speaking and awards opportunities, put together preliminary findings for new business pitches, etc.  
  • Media relations: Monitor and flag editorial opportunities, compile media lists, and create reporter briefing sheets 
  • Writing: Draft social media posts, press releases, media invites, etc.

The Plot Thickens: Job Description

  • Account leadership: Play a key role in day-to-day management of all components of multiple-client PR programs with speed and accuracy. Experience in running integrated marketing communications campaigns and multi-market programs for clients
  • Client relations: Serve as point person and trusted partner with clients, providing counsel and setting expectations for program execution; maintain proactive attitude, responsibility and perspective that continually advances the quality of work
  • Media relations: Drive strategy for media pitching, maintain a network of media contacts, deliver signature stories, host media briefings, and provide counsel to spokespersons
  • Content creation: Ensure consistent tone and accuracy of content, review key content pieces (such as press releases Q&A documents, bylines), and drive development of key messages and PR plans for clients
  • New business: Contribute to RFPs and pitch decks, and participate in new business presentations
  • Reporting: Oversee and review all reporting efforts, track results against annual goals, and drive client satisfaction
  • Mentorship/training: Serve as a direct manager to junior staff, and provide constructive feedback to help staff grow and advance in their careers at Hoffman
