On May 27, 2011 The Hoffman Agency received the Best Professional Service Team Award from 17PR, an influential platform for news and industry trends in the China PR industry. The Hoffman Agency received this award at the Best PR Employer Awards Ceremony with an audience of about 300 PR professionals from local and global agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Ruder Finn and Weber Shandwick.
17PR launched a program in late March to determine China’s most outstanding employers in the public relations industry, selecting from nearly 300 PR companies. Four-million voters assessed and rated these companies in an online poll, ranking the following criteria: corporate culture, training and development opportunities, employment stability, employee relations, compensation/benefits, promotion opportunities, quality and stability of accounts and clients, professionalism, corporate social responsibility, and work environment.
After high rankings in the above criteria, the 17PR research team visited Hoffman China’s Beijing office to conducted a staff survey on employee satisfaction and meet face-to-face with Hoffman’s managing directors. Based on this, 17PR was impressed by the company’s awareness of the importance of employer liability, standardized management, compensation benefits, and its invested interest in staff development and growth.
