THE HOFFMAN AGENCY HIRES KYMRA KNUTH, FORMER EDELMAN EXECUTIVE, AS ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

The Hoffman Agency has hired Kymra Knuth to serve as Account Director. She will leverage her experience working with some of the world’s largest brands including Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Autodesk and InFocus to develop and oversee the communications strategy for multiple Hoffman clients. She will also participate in new business and staff development.

Her responsibilities will include building and maintaining strong client, partner and media relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients, managing and overseeing the public relations efforts, pitching key media, and strengthening the client’s overall brand with key stakeholders.

Prior to joining Hoffman, Knuth was a senior executive for two global PR firms, Edelman and Waggener Edstrom. She was a co-founder and senior executive of Edelman’s Portland office where she managed global technology and consumer accounts, and assisted the rapid growth from approximately three to 30 employees in three years.

Knuth spent almost ten years at Waggener Edstrom leading multiple Microsoft businesses including the Enterprise Server Business, Microsoft Office, the Internet and Tools Group and the Enterprise Customer Business Unit.

She has vast experience working with b2b, high-tech and consumer clients, and has strong editorial relationships in key publications that impact decision-makers in these markets.
